If you are a webmaster or site owner like me, you need tools to work on your website/blog. Every day it's something new, but none the less it's got to be done if you want your site looking good and ranking well in Google.
Well one of my sites is http://wordpress-how-to.com and I'm looking for ways to promote it, as usual. I run across a few WordPress Job sites and figure that's got to be worth looking into, right?
(Note my blog url above..., 'wordpress how to' is a top WordPress search term. That is an exact match query!!!)
WordPress Job Resources
• jobs.wordpress.net
• premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-jobs
• jobs.woothemes.com
• wphired.com
• wordpressfreelance.com
So I do and I decide to post my profile in their WordPress Professionals at wordpressfreelance.com. They allow you to add a nice size banner to your profile and I want to take advantage of that ability.
So I do and I decide to post my profile in their WordPress Professionals at wordpressfreelance.com. They allow you to add a nice size banner to your profile and I want to take advantage of that ability. But I don't have a banner of any kind or any way to make one! So I figure it's time to find some Banner Design Software.
And this is the point of this blog post - were do I go looking for new software?

So I give this excellent search engine a warm up query and and finally try 'banner animation' and bingo! I got my tool. Now I figure most people are not looking for banner software so after I download my application and decide to make this blog post, I'll change the query to something more common like 'SEO' so you can see results that matter to more people. Click on the image below to see the files my new query returned...
Nice yes? I think so. And if you refine your query you will get less listings with better results. You can seethe actual file name, size and when you mouse over the listing even more information is displayed.
So you find a file you like and click on it, you will go to another screen like the one listed below. As you can see there is more information once again. The best part here is a button that you can click to see more sources for the file link. These urls are often files hare linking sites with 100's if not 1,000's of great links to file share sites and cool applications, movies and whatever else you find at these kind of sites!
And last, but far from least the final result, the file you were seeking. In my case a Banner Design application for my new WordPress Professional directory listing. So I visit the link and sure enough the file is there waiting for me at Rapidshare, no games, no bullshit links or fake downloads. Just my download plain and simple, the way I like it!
Who knows, you might even visit http://wordpressfreelance.com/ and see my profile with a sick banner
